Sub:- Regarding 8th State Conference & Activities of Fedreration.
Sir,
It is to inform you that the 8th state level conference of Rajasthan Vidhyut Kamgar Ekta Federation (CITU),was held at Mazdoor Kisan Bhawan at Jaipur on date 11/07/2009. The conference started at 11 AM by flag hosting by the Gen.Sec of EEFI Mr. Prasanta Nandi Choudhary, & then all delegates pay their tribute to “AMAR SHAHID”.
In the opening speech Mr. Ravindra Sukla Gen. Sec.(CITU),Rajasthan said that Electricity should be introduced as a industry. He also oppose for making so many companies & disbandaling of Vidyut boards. He also suggest for new recruitments in electric companies.
Mr. B S Meel Vice President EEFI said that we have seen results of disbanding of electricity boards in Orrisa & Delhi, he also said that we have not reach even 52% of generation targets & generate electricity 14000 MW against 78700 MW. & still 44 % poor people of the country are out of reach of electricity.
Mr. Prasanta Nandi Choudhary, Gen. Sec. EEFI, said that contract work should be stopped, & it should be done by the employees of companies. He also criticized the anti labour policy in budget 2009 of congress Govt.
442 delegates from all over Rajasthan attend the conference & passed resonation for new recruitments, stop contract work, free electricity to electricity workers & stop privatization  in the copmpanies.
In the final session the general election of office bearers & working committee held where the following person elected.

Recently federation has made efforts for a joint movment with all other federation as RSEB Engineer Association, power Engineers Association , BMS,
INTUC,AITUC, & Karmachary federation on common demands like Bonus & Pay anomalies & give a one day demonstration at vidyut Bhawan Jaipur on date 05/10/2009.
