US prepares for a second attack against Iraq

The United States has already begun preparation for a second attack against Iraq. Forward movement of military hardware and personal has been already ordered. Mr. George Bush himself has declared that the aim of the operation against Iraq is to remove Sadam Hussain and to establish a (pliable) new regime.

The public posture of the US government that Iraq is amassing weapons of mass destructions, aiding the Alquida outfit, and planning an attack against its neighbours and the United States. For which no piece of evidence is produced. Those governments which are part of the NATO alliance too do not believe the stories put up by the United States. Not to say about others.

For this project the NATO allies of America including Germany and France have publicly announced their opposition only Britain siding with USA. The Arab countries which were with the United States like Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia have expressed their dissent . Thus almost all the Arabic countries are against this US venture. Of late Germany had declared that they will withdraw their forces from Kuwait in case united states unilaterally launch the attack against Iraq. However European countries has some constraints to distance from America while they are members of the NATO alliance the problem is of Oil supplies. Out of the 38% exports from Arab countries to Europe, 66% is oil. Hence to offend this Arab countries is difficult for them. That is why some experts opine that the Europe will be sitting at the Fence in this conflict. However United States has publicly declared that they will go ahead with the war even without the support of European countries.

The inhuman nature of imperialism needs no elaboration. The US imperalism is the most ferocious and monstrous which has no many evidence in history. The dropping of atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki practically after the end of second world war causing death for millions of Japanese which has no parallel in human history. What they have done against the people of Iraq during and after the war was also not very much different.

During January-February 1991 in their operation against Iraq they have officially boasted to have carried out 1,10,000 Ariel sorties and dropped 88,500 tonnes of bombs. Not only against military targets but also higly popluated areas including civilian targets killing millions of people. Destroyed civilian facilities, like Hospitals, schools, water systems, and all the industrial structures.

They have also clarified that their casualty was meager, only 156 persons. Out of which only 30 was due to the fire from their partners in the war. It shows that it was actually a one sided war and Iraq could not do anything against Ariel attacks by America and its allies.

The conditions imposed in the name of United Nation’s sanctions too practically sealed off all the avenues of the review for the people of Iraq. The ariel attack by the British and American continued for a decade killing civilian population. The indescribable miseries due to lack of food, medicine and other facilities millions of people died in Iraq including women and children. This is another story of inhuman face of American imperialism however, they are again to launch a war to remove Sadam Hussain without any visible reason.

The real purpose of the attack is part of the “strategic objective” of the United States to bring the oil rich regions of Middle East under their control. The main objective of Afganisthan operation too was to bring the oil rich central Asian region under their domination. This is part of the American larger scheme for exercising their hegemony over the world. That is why they are dishing out many visibly absurd and fallacious alibis for launching an attack against Iraq. First Iraq, and then Iran which is listed in the “axis of evil” by George Bush. The whole Middle East will come under their thumb If this scheme is completed. No Arabian power will be able to raise any dissent against American dictates. Thus the US Oil cartels will become the actual controllers of the whole of the Middle East Oil. We must also note the fact that the US Oil cartels are the actual bosses directed the Pentagon to go to war against Iraq.

The Unites States do not care for international law or the resolutions of united nations they consider what they say is the law for the world as a whole. Therefor who respect democracy and civilised system in the world should come strongly against this US imperialist arrogance. The government of India should come forward to oppose this attempt of the US to subjugate weaker nation of the world for plundering their national wealth.
