Voice of Electricity Workers DIRECTIVE FOR TOOLDOWN AND PENDOWN All India Power Engineers Federation held its Federal Executive Meeting on 7th July 2001 at New Delhi. Delegates from 20 states participated in the National Convention held by Electricity Employees and Engineers on 7th July 2001 where a resolution was passed against reforms and liberalisation of Economic policies of GOI. It has been decided that all Engineers shall observe 24 hours “PENDOWN-TOOL DOWN” whenever (May be sometime in August or there after) Central Trade Unions decide to go on 24 August Nation Wide TOKEN STRIKE. Er. Dubey stressed and it was decided to hold regional convention of NCCOEEE to mobilize employees and Engineers. It was also impressed upon State Federations to represent against reforms before Review Committee constituted by Government of Orissa to examine the status and directions of reforms. AIPEF also passed a resolution demanding cancellation of PPA for DPC stage I & II, in the larger interest of State and Nation. |
